Admin may change the rules whenever they wish.
General Rules-
-There is to be no power playing
-This is a more advanced RPG, and we expect 150+ word posts, using correct grammar and spelling..
-Cussing is allowed, but don't over use.
-No racism, or being rude to any member.
-Leave IC fights out of OOC fights, or vice versa
-Don't stretch your signature.
-Post in the away board when leaving for over 3 days.
-Dont fight with the staff
-Dont steal from the site
-First half to joining password is new
-When creating a character, you must wait to be accepted.
-When talking in "IC" you must use Bold Letters. When thinking(Thoughts) in "IC" you must use Italics This will make it easier to determine when the dog is speaking, thinking, or simply doing an action.
-Pictures used for characters must NOT be copyrighted. Flickr.com has lots, but make sure is doesnt say (c) All Rights Reserved to the right of the image. Photobucket images may NOT be used unless they were taken by YOU.
Characters/Creating
-NO toy breeds. It would be pointless to have a toy breed. If you wish to have a toy breed PM Mustang4 a good reason why.
-NO wolves/coyotes/etc. However, wolf hybrids are welcome. DONT over use them.
-You must have a history
-You must have a personality
-You must have a sample post of 150 words or more. This is not in the form, its a test to see if you read the rules
- Joining sample posts may be copied from another site
-life is the second half to the password for the creation form. The password is now complete.
-Dont create a big dog to be tough. Often large breeds are gentle.
-Pittbulls are allowed, but you will be monitored. There is no human contact to teach them to fight, so they arnt always fighters. Got it?
Rulers
-Any player can try out for the ruler position.
-You are to post with 200 words or more for the claiming.
-The claiming post must show if the character is ruler capable.
-You are to include the Land name, and description at the end of your post. In case you win
-Breeding password starts as heavy
-Rulers rule the major packs. Though, they may have a pack of there own.
-Ruler positions may be stolen, by fighting.
-Ruler positions may be handed down to another.
-Any gender can be a ruler.
Land
-May be stolen by a challenge
-Land owner has 3 days to reply to challenge or the land is forfitted. (Doesnt count if the person is away)
-Land may be passed to another
-To claim a land you post a 150 or more word claiming post.
-Must be original, and about him/her claiming
-An Admin will say if you won the claim.
-Post land description and name at the bottom, in case you win.
Packs
-Packs are under their rulers rule.
-Packs consist of a Lead Dog, or two. Lead Male, and Lead Female. Then there are pack members, Leads declare member positions
-Last half to breeding password is rain. Password is now complete.
-The Major packs don't get along with one another. Some do though.
-Packs may hunt as one. This may be done on the hunting board, or on the packs board.
-Street dog packs, are somewhat like wolf packs, base them off that.
Breeding
-Graphic Breeding is allowed on sub-board only
-Ruler claiming password starts with r
-No wonders, male or female.
-Force is allowed if the female posts first. Though her mate may come during the process.
-Two fathers can happen, look into dog reproduction if you don't believe me.
-In order to breed, both dogs have to be a pack member, and be in season.
-Breeding season will be posted. Dogs only go into heat twice a year.
-Keep it realistic please. I don't like it when the breeding "method" doesn't actually happen.
Birthing
-I know this is a realistic RPG, but two pups per litter only.
-For birthing, you must post in the birthing grounds first with the Sire and Dams stats.
-An Admin or Global mod must post the pups stats before RPing the birth.
-Dont whine about the pups stats.
-The next part to the rulers password is land
-Both parents may be present for the birth
-The pups are born with a health. Every now and then a pup will be born with a poor health. Don't argue with the person who created the stats. Its life and it happens.
-Still birth may be possible. This isn't rare in real life, but it is on here. Don't fuss if a pup was born dead. You can breed them again.
-Dams can be killed during birth. This is an option for killing a char off.
Hunting
-Dogs may hunt as a loner, or as a pack.
-You may hunt in the hunting grounds, or in the pack. Hunting grounds prefered.
-Prey available will be posted in the board description. Message Mustang4 if you have a suggestion
-Hunting may be graphic, or well, realistic to say.
- Horses are a rare find to hunt. Cows however, are not.
-The last part for ruler claiming password is claim. Password is now complete
Fighting
-Fights can be brutal for dogs. Graphic section is available
-All passwords are one word, no spaces.
-Fights can be over land, food, position,argument, or members of a pack. Other reasons are possible.
-At the top of the first post, put what the fight was about
-Each dog is allowed 4 hits and 2 dodges for a short fight. 6 Hits and 3 dodges for long fight.
-Size doesn't always matter. Though other times it does.
-When the fight is over, let a Global mod or admin know so they can judge.
-Death is possible.
-Watch out for power playing, sometimes it can be accidental.
